Diven Eugene Gency, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born on April 22, 1942 in Nemicolin, PA, son of the late Junior and Esther (Kenly) Gency. Diven married his wife Mary (Gilbert) Gency on September 31, 1961. Diven retired from General Motors in 1989. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Diven is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary (Gilbert) Gency; daughters, Karen (Joseph) Garcia, Connie Bellay and Julia (Clayton) Ellert; seven grandchildren, Megan (Bijan) Hosseininejad, Sarah Garcia, Keri Bellay, Cassie Bellay, Katie Bellay, Peyton Ellert and Diven Ellert; four great grandchildren, Gavin Hosseininejad, Jamie Reed, Jaxon Reed and Aiden Dickey; two sisters, Marla (Bud) Walker and Donna Boyd and three brothers, Tom (Lori) Gency, Rick (Suzie) Gency and Terry Gency. He was preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral services will follow the hour of calling, beginning at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Chaplain Mike "Chappy" Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Park in Champion.
